Thanks for the note Max.
As you know, the FB Editor is not a standard text editor ( like Apple's TextEdit ) because it needs to be FB syntax aware in order to accomplish its magic.
The FB editor specifically does NOT implement the behavior mentioned in favor of another FB language-specific behavior; FB's behavior is working as expected.
For a record-based statement like 'range.location', the editor implements a double-click to highlight the words on either side of the period ( full stop ).
