We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Even the Christian must fear God. But it is another kind of fear. It is a fear rather of what might have been than of what is; it is a fear of what would come were we not in Christ. Without such fear there can be no true love; for love of the Saviour is proportioned to one's horror of that from which man has been saved. And how strong are the lives that are suffused with such a love! They are lives brave, not because the realities of life have been ignored, but because they have first been faced – lives that are founded upon the solid foundation of God's grace. May such lives be ours!

The supreme test for them really is whether they have found the hour in church enjoyable, whether the music being good, the singing hearty, the decorations no offense to the eye, the curtains the right shade, the building beautiful, they come away 'feeling' better.     Take a Look Around You

    Take a look around you. You should be amazed. Here are people so valuable that God created them to be eternal. What does He see in them? What did He create them for that is so special to Him who is far above anything? Don't miss an incredible opportunity to find out what God is doing in their lives. Don't miss out on discovering an incredible person God is devoted to because you see some imperfection. You might think that person talks too much. Or that other one is quite boring. Or she looks funny. Or he's kinda slow. Or we have nothing in common. Or they make me so angry!! Ask God to open your eyes and help you to see people through His eyes. Eyes that saw each person as worthy - not just to die for, but to allow His SON to die for. So find someone you don't know well, and spend a little bit of time with them. Take them out to lunch. Have them over for dinner. Find out what is going on in their life and find a way to help them out. Visit if they are sick, or help them if they are moving. Find a way to spend a little time with someone and discover what is so special about this person that God Himself sees as a treasure!!
