What an amazing day was this!
With air to breathe, and a wife to kiss,
With work to do, and food to enjoy,
Yes, water to drink, and gifts to employ;
I'd tools to use, and a mind to plan,
A place to sit, and a desk to man,
With thoughts to sift, and words to choose,
Never was there a moment to lose.
Oh, what a day, so full, so grand,
To have, by grace, at my command!
