And I, with a foot in both, am pulled and stretched.
To ply these waters the expert sells his chart,
But easy soundings seem to me far-fetched.
(Perhaps they serve to embolden the foolish start.)
My land of birth and the life I've chosen here,
With time, have both become to me more dear.---
