by J. Randal MathenyHow many times did you show care and share
A meal or clothes, a word when light was dim?
Can you count the sum? God's not unfair:
He'll not forget your work and love for him,
Nor ignore you gave both life and limb.
You have no need to number or recall
Your numerous deeds, for God remembers them all.----
On the forum today, I reveal the stimulus behind
today's poem, as well as a longer reflection than
usual. It starts like this:"You ever look back over your life and wonder if
you've made a real difference in this world? As a
missionary on the field for over 20 years, I've
looked back plenty of times. ..."You can read the entire reflection after
registering (just name and email) and logging in,
under "He'll Not Forget," same title as today's
poem. You can also share your thoughts on the poem
and the reflection.May the Lord's cloudburst of blessing envelope
you.Randal
