IT WORKS!

For twenty-four hours I live by a puff
Of air in fifteen-minute blocks,
The doctor has my arm in a cuff
Of pressure; on my belt, a box.

The tubes won't let me rest or sleep,
Ingenious tools that men devise!
It works! With every buzz and beep,
This contraption makes my pressure rise!
