by J. Randal Matheny © 2014What to say when you've nothing but static,
No thought to offer, the mind a blank?
Whatever your statement, make it emphatic,
No matter how ignorant, be brunt and frank.
Above and beyond, be stern and dogmatic. The wise who holds his tongue's opinion
Has much to offer, but measures well
What can be said, so he holds dominion
Over his words; not all will he tell,
But devotes himself to right religion.— ‹‹«»›› —
