Why does Mom sound like a chipmunk?

Yes, it has raised a few eyebrows in my house... very rapid
high pitched pseudo-human noises coming from my tape
deck! No, it's not a chipmunk jabbering away, it's Mom's
voice on the "hi dub" tape copy setting.
By request of many of our Hope Chest readers I am duplicating
the tape I made when I spoke to our support group about
"Nurturing Naomi: How to Help Yourself or Someone Else
Overcome Discouragement" earlier this month.
