What scares me is the anti-intellectual, anti-critical thinking philosophy that has spilled over into the church. This philosophy tends to romanticize the faith, making the local church into an experience center... Their concept of “church” is that they are spiritual consumers and that the church’s job is to meet their 'felt needs.”
People ought to come to corporate worship services to get. They ought to come starved for God. They ought to come saying, “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God” (Psalm 42:1). God is profoundly honored when people know that they will die of hunger and thirst unless they have God.

Cream the first 3 ingred. well till fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift
in flour then add soda and extracts. Bake in large, prepared bundt pan at
325 for about 90 mins. dust with powdered sugar before slicing.
