We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

We should observe that God does not send anyone to hell. He desires that none should perish (2 Pet. 3:9). God created humans to have fellowship with Him and provided the means by which they can have that fellowship. It is a human's choice to experience to agony of hell. His or her own sin sends the person there, and his or her rejection of the benefits of Christ's death prevents escape. As C.S. Lewis has put it, sin is the human being saying to God throughout life, 'Go away and leave me alone.' Hell is God's finally saying to the human, 'You may have your wish.'
Millard Erickson

You cannot take Christ for justification unless you take Him for sanctification. Think of the sinner coming to Christ and saying, “I do not want to be holy;” “I do not want to be saved from sin;” “I would like to be saved in my sins;” “Do not sanctify me now, but justify me now.” What would be the answer? Could he be accepted by God? You can no more separate justification from sanctification than you can separate the circulation of the blood from the inhalation of the air. Breathing and circulation are two different things, but you cannot have the one without the other; they go together, and they constitute one life. So you have justification and sanctification; they go together, and they constitute one life. If there was ever one who attempted to receive Christ with justification and not with sanctification, he missed it, thank God! He was no more justified than he was sanctified.

(Johansseh, Jenny) Let cream cheese, butter and egg yolks stand at
room temperature at least 2 hours. Beat cheese in a mixing bowl with a
wooden spoon or blend at low speed in electric mixer. Add butter and
continue beating. When well blended, add sugar, then egg yolks, one at
a time. Add vanilla and fold in almonds. Wash and dry the inside of a
Pashka mold or a new 2 quart clay or plastic flowerpot with drain
holes in the bottom. Line the pot with a double thickness of
cheesecloth wrung out in cold water. Spoon cheese mixture into the
pot to the brim. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours
or overnight on a plate. To unmold, trim around and discard top of the
cheesecloth. Invert a dessert plate over the opening of the flowerpot
and quickly turn the whole thing upside down. Place on table and
gently lift off pot, tugging at the cheesecloth lining if necessary.
When the pot is clear, gently remove the cheesecloth. Garnish the
base and top of the Pashka with whole strawberries and strawberry
halves. Serve with additional crushed, sweetened strawberries as a
sauce. You may add some brandy or liqueur to the sauce if you wish.
