Whenever the true message of the cross is abolished, the anger of hypocrites and heretics eases…and all things are in peace. This is a sure token that the devil is guarding the entry of that house, and that the pure doctrine of God's Word has been taken away. The church, then, is in the BEST state when Satan assaileth it on every side…both with subtle sleights, and outright violence. And (likewise) it is in the WORST state, when it is most at peace!
There is a great deal of difference between falling into a temptation, and running into a temptation. The falling into a temptation shall work for good, not the running into it. He that falls into a river is capable of help and pity, but he that desperately turns into it is guilty of his own death.
FROSTING
Bring to a boil and simmer 4 to 8 minutes until it thickens (about
ingredients). Set aside to cool about 5 minutes. Layer bottom of 9 x 13
inch pan with Keebler Club crackers. Spread the above mixture over the
Keebler Club crackers. Place another layer of crackers over the mixture.
FROSTING: Mix ingredients together. Store in cool place.
