We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

It’s essential, moreover, to get the doctrine of God right before moving on. Either God will be the center of one’s doctrinal solar system or something else will. What we believe about God determines what we believe about everything.
Jonathan Leeman

Common morality can be explained without developing an elaborate theory; it is simply part of the structure of our human natures, who we are as God made us. Therefore, an ethic based upon the Golden Rule alone or a God-given moral sense is not truly virtuous in itself. This is so because a moral act done apart from a transcendent object – love for God and His beauty – is a false morality. It is impossible to have a divinely sanctioned morality if God is not the object of and motive for it.

after piping the two disks, make a few dessert shells. To soften the
ice cream, place it in the refrigerator about thirty minutes before
needed. And remember, not all of the ice cream is needed at the same
time. If you need ice cream softened in a hurry, you can also
microwave it on the defrost setting, checking it every thirty seconds
at first, and then every fifteen seconds as it reaches the softened
state. Recipe by: Cook's Illustrated, Mar./Apr. 1995, Page 21. Posted
