If (a) the Son has come to do the will of the Father, and if (b) the will of the Father is that the Son should give eternal life to all whom the Father has given Him, and if (c) the Father didn’t give Him the world but only some out of the world, then the redemption accomplished by the Son is particular, not universal.
The difference in result between forgiveness that responds to repentance and forgiveness independent of the repentance of the offending party is, of course, that the former pattern issues in reconciliation while the latter does not. But in both cases what is presupposed is that the believer forgives the offender. Transparently, reconciliation is a good thing if it can be achieved, but the goal of reconciliation should not become the cloak for nursing bitterness because it cannot be achieved.
Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain. Heat oil in a large
skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for one minute. Add
tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes. Add hot pasta to
skillet; toss well. Add chicken broth and stir. Toss with Parmesan cheese
