Our mouths are not factories trying to manufacture proper speech, but rather fountains in which proper speech overflows from hearts that are being transformed by the Spirit. As Jesus said, “For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart” (Mt. 12:34).
Ministers are herein to imitate God, and, to their best endeavour, to instruct people in the mysteries of godliness, and to teach them what to believe and practice, and then to stir them up in act and deed, to do what they are instructed to do. Their labor otherwise is likely to be in vain. Neglect of this course is a main cause that men fall into as many errors as they do in these days
Grease and flour baking sheets.
Beat egg yolks, powdered sugar and salt in a large bowl until pale and
creamy. Beat egg whites until very stiff; fold into egg yolk mixture.
Siftflour, baking powder and aniseed onto egg mixture; fold in quickly but
thoroughly. Fill a pastry bag fitted with a plain nozzle with cookie
mixture. Pipe in small rounds onto prepared baking sheets. Let stand
overnight to dry out.
Preheat oven to 325'. Bake cookies 20 minutes. Cool on rack.
