We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Neither is it the prayers enshrined and intoned in imposing ritual, rising from the great congregation amid ornate temples, and borne on the wings of enchanting music – but the groan, the glance, the tear, the tremulous aspiration of smitten penitents, the veriest lisping of infant tongues; the unlettered petitions morning and evening of the cottage home, where the earthen floor is knelt upon, where the only altar is the altar of the lowly heart, and the sacrifice that of a broken and contrite spirit.

    INGREDIENTS

    2 1/4 c Oat Bran Cereal
    1/4 c Brown Sugar; Packed
    1 ts Cinnamon
    1 tb Baking Powder
    1/4 c Walnuts; Chopped, Optional
    1/2 c Raisins
    1/2 c Skim Milk
    3/4 c Frozen AppleJuiceConcentrate
    2 Egg Whites; Large
    2 tb Vegetable Oil
    1 Apple; Chopped, Md

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.  Mix the milk, apple juice
concentrate, egg whites and oil.  Blend well. (Can be done in a blender.)
Add to the dry ingredients and mix well.  Add the chopped apple and spoon
into muffin cups that have been sprayed with a non-stick coating.  Fill
three-fourths full and bake in a 400 degree F oven for 15 to 17 minutes, or
until done.  Serve warm.
