Apple-Lemon Pie

INGREDIENTS

6 tb Butter or margarine, softened
6 tb Granulated sugar
2 Eggs
4 lg Apples, peeled and coarsely grated
Juice of 1 to 1 1/2 lemons
1 9" pie shell (unbaked)
Whipped cream or ice cream

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 425°F.  Cream butter and sugar well.  Mix in eggs,
one at a time.  Stir in apples, then lemon juice.  Fill pie shell;
bake for 20 minutes.  Reduce heat to 350°F; continue baking for 25
minutes. Serve with whipped cream.  Serves 6-8  Typed in MMFormat by
