We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Let us not conclude when we see a fellow-Christian under the rod of God that he is necessarily being taken to task for his sins.

Do you want to increase your hunger for the Lord? Try weaning yourself from the world's diet- be prepared for some withdrawal symptoms when you turn off the radio and the TV and eliminate unnecessary activities. Then begin feeding on the Word of God. At first, it may seem bland and boring; but in time, you will discover that it satisfies in a far deeper, richer way than those things you once thought were so filling.

ICING
Sift together flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder & salt. Stir in the
apricots & nuts. Add the syrup. Stir until the mixture forms a thick
batter.
Spread the batter into a lightly oiled 8" X 8" baking pan (it is hard work,
but it will cover -- trust me!). Bake at 350F for 30 to 35 minutes or until
the bars test done. Allow to cool slightly, cut into bars. When completely
cool, spread with icing & drizzle some melted chocolate over the top if
desired.
ICING: Cream together sugar & shortening. Add remaining ingredients & beat
