Nothing is ever wasted in the kingdom of God. Not one tear, not all our pain, not the unanswered question or the seemingly unanswered prayers. Nothing will be wasted if we give our lives to God. And if we are willing to be patient until the grace of God is made manifest, whether it takes nine years or ninety, it will be worth the wait.
The modern intelligent mind, which has had its horizons widened in dozens of different ways, has got to be shocked afresh by the audacious central fact that as a sober matter of history, God become one of us.
In a wooden salad bowl, mash garlic and salt with a strong fork.
Add fresh artichoke hearts, and mash with the garlic and salt.
Add olive oil, stir, add lemon juice, stir, add wine vinegar,
stir, stir, add hot sauce, stir, add Lea & Perrins Worcestershire
sauce, Mix well. Put canned artichoke hearts in dressing and let
marinate for 1 hour, then eat as is or serve on a bed of greens.
