The message for children is short and simple: obedience – in both attitude and action – is “right” (Eph. 6:1). It is “well pleasing to the Lord” (Col. 3:20). It is honoring to the parents. And it is good for the children – protecting them from a world of evil, prolonging their lives, and bringing them an abundance of blessing (see Eph. 6:1-3).
FOR THE SALSA
Peel and mash the avocado. Place the avocado, chicken stock, lime juice,
cilantro, and sherry into a food processor. Puree until smooth, season with
salt and pepper. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Meanwhile prepare the salsa. In a bowl combine the corn, black beans,
peppers, garlic, olive oil, and lime juice. Season to taste with salt and
pepper.
Serve the soup in chilled cups topped with the salsa and fresh cilantro.
