We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

I have found it is impossible to be unforgiving toward those I am praying for. It's not easy to start praying for them; it's one of the hardest things I've done. But when I make that person an object of prayer, I open the door of my heart a little wider so that God can come in and breathe on my hardened heart, melting the icy resentment that is there.

The kind of love that animates the inclusivist god is more akin to sentimentalism than God's holy affection. If love means God abandons all of His other attributes, then love itself is deified. The love of God does not dictate that He abandon His justice or holiness. In fact, the glory of the gospel is that God is both just and justifier of the ungodly. God does not allow unregenerate sinners to do as they will, worship what they wish, live as they please, and still go free. In the divine scheme of things, sin demands punishment. The rebellion of self-worship requires wrath. Yet, the God of wrath is no less than the God of mercy. He is the same God. Were God never to have offered salvation to any sinner, His love would still survive unblemished. The reality and riches of God's love is not measured in the number of person's saved, but in the magnificence of the attribute itself.

Below is a national favorite of New Zealand. Many of the favorite and well
used recipes are English based! Let me know if you try it, what you think.
When my daughter visited from California - she asked for this recipe. Take
care and happy spring.
Use one sheet of pastry to line a 20 cm square shallow cake tin. (8 inch)
Sprinkle onion, bacon and mixed vegetables evenly over pastry. Dot the
chutney on top. Break eggs evenly over, pricking the yolks so they run
slightly. Carefully lift second sheet of pastry over filling. Brush top
with milk. Bake at 200C (400 F) for 40 minutes or until well risen and
golden.
To serve - cut into squares. Serve hot or cold. Serves 6.
