Baked Ham Slice in Sauterne

INGREDIENTS

2 lb Center cut ham slice
1/2 c Brown sugar; firmly packed
3 tb Cornstarch Water
1 tb Margarine
1/2 c Raisins
1/2 c American sauterne; or other dry white wine

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350~.  Place ham in a shallow baking pan. Set aside.
Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Stir in water and margarine.
Place over med-high heat and cook, stirring constantly, 5 mins. Remove pan
from heat and stir in raisins and wine. Pour the mixture over ham. Bake
uncovered 45 mins. or until tender.
Per serving - 291 cal, 24 g pro, 31 g carbo, 60 mg chol, 1391 mg sod, 8 g
tot fat (2 g sat, 1 g poly, 4 g mono)
Note - one serving of this dish provides most of the recommended daily amt.
