We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

It is astounding that God wants us to call Him “Father.” The implications are staggering. Having God as our Father means that He is a living, personal being, and not an impersonal force. It means we can get to know Him. It means we can talk to Him and interact with Him. It means we can relate to Him on a personal and even an intimate basis. I might not know how to relate to an Almighty One, a Most High, or the Great I Am, because I have not met anybody like that. I have no earthly frame of reference to do so. But relating to a father? That’s different.
Mary Kassian

Can God reveal Himself to humanity? And, to be more specific, can He reveal himself in language, the specifics of which become normative for Christian faith and action? With an inerrant Bible these things are possible. Without it, theology inevitably enters a wasteland of human speculation. The church, which needs a sure Word of God, flounders. Without an inerrant revelation, theology is not only adrift, it is meaningless. Having repudiated its right to speak on the basis of Scripture, it forfeits its right to speak on any other issue as well.

<wlockman@ra1.randomc.com> As you travel around East Africa you will
see countless Africans selling food along the roadsides, in the
markets, or through bus and train windows. They sell fruit, boiled
eggs grilled maize, boiled maize, yogurt, milk, soda pop, fried dough
balls, samosas, yellow buns, and real seasonal delicacies like roasted
mice and termites. The following are a few East African snack foods
you can try. "Beef Jerky" is more common in South Africa but still a
part of the East African diet. It is generally made from beef, but
other game is used when available. Cut strips of meat following the
grain of muscle. Make strips 2 inches wide and 1 inch thick. Best made
during cool dry weather if possible. Salt the meat by rubbing the
mixture in well and leave in the basin of salt mixture overnight. Dip
a cloth in vinegar, wring dry and whip the meat well. Hang the strips
of meat in a cool, dry, well ventilated place until dry. You can also
hang the meat on an oven rack placed in the top slot of the oven. Dry
the meat on low heat. Recipe By : Mrarchway@aol.com
