We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The Scriptures teach that the happiness or blessedness of believers in a future life will be greater or less in proportion to the service of Christ in this life. Those who love little, do little; and those who do little, enjoy less.
Charles Hodge

The main trouble with the Christian Church today is that she is too much like a clinic, too much like a hospital; that is why the great world is going to hell outside!... Look at the great campaign, look at it objectively, look at it from God’s standpoint. Forget yourself and your temporary troubles and ills for the moment; fight in the army. It is not a clinic you need; you must realize that we are in a barracks, and that we are involved in a mighty campaign.

Wash the beans and soak overnight in 2 quarts of cold water. Saute the
onion ( and it's just as good if you leave the onion raw), garlic and
pepper in the oil. Combine all the ingredients except the vinegar and rice,
and cook over low heat until the beans are tender. Add the vinegar and
serve over the rice.
