We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Having convictions can be defined as being so thoroughly convinced that Christ and His Word are both objectively true and relationally meaningful that you act on your beliefs regardless of the consequences.
Josh McDowell

Perhaps you can see why it is astonishing to me that so many people try to define true Christianity in terms of decisions and not affections. Not that decisions are unessential. The problem is that they require so little transformation. Mere decisions are no sure evidence of a true work of grace in the heart. People can make “decisions” about the truth of God while their hearts are far from Him.

Strain juice from canned blackberries, pressing through as much pulp as
possible, and measure. If you use fresh berries, prepare juice by cooking
berries with just enough water to keep them from burning, and strain.
Sweeten to taste with sugar syrup; add grape juice, lemon juice, and chill.
Fill glasses one-third full and add water or crushed ice. Yield: 1-1/2
quarts.
Note: Fresh raspberries or loganberries, as well as canned berries, may be
used.
