We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

It’s all are welcome as they are, but when you come change is expected. Or it’s not clean yourself up before God will accept you, but when God accepts you He will clean you up. Or it’s God loves sinners, but He loves them too much to keep them sinners. Or as I like to say, God doesn’t clean His fish before He catches them, but after He catches them He always immediately starts cleaning them.

Jesus indicates that the way to think about self-denial is to deny yourself only a lesser good for a greater good… In other words, Jesus wants us to think about sacrifice in a way that rules our all self-pity. This is, in fact, just what the texts on self-denial teach (Mk. 8:34-35)… Saint Augustine captured the paradox in these words, “If you love your soul, there is a danger of its being destroyed. Therefore you may not love it, since you do not want it to be destroyed. But in not wanting it to be destroyed you love it.”

INGREDIENTS

-LISA HLAVATY
2 lb Boneless round steak; 1/4" thick and pounded
1/2 c Bread crumbs
1/2 c Parmesan cheese
1 Clove garlic; minced
1 Egg; beaten
1/4 ts Pepper
2 Hard boiled eggs; sieved
2 c Meatless spaghetti sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix together bread crumbs, cheese, garlic, beaten egg, pepper and sieved
eggs. Spread over steak. Roll up meat and tie at 1" intervals. Spread 1 cup
spaghetti sauce in bottom of baking pan slightly larger than meat roll.
Place meat on sauce and cover with remaining sauce.Cover and bake at 350
degrees F. for 2 to 3 hours, or until fork tender. Serve on top of
spaghetti.
JEAN'S SUGGESTION: This might cook very well in a crockpot with a meat
rack, on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, or until very tender. In that case, I would
lower the amount of spaghetti sauce used, to 3/4 to 1 cup, to allow for the
meat juices that would cook out.
