If knowledge is the accumulation of facts, intelligence the development of reason, wisdom is heavenly discernment. It is insight into the heart of things. Wisdom involves knowing God and the subtleties of the human heart. More than knowledge, it is the right application of knowledge in moral and spiritual matters, in handling dilemmas, in negotiating complex relationships.
The reason for election is not my foreseen righteousness; or my foreseen obedience; or my foreseen response to the gospel…the only reason to be found in Scripture that explains why God elects people for salvation… that God has done this in accordance with His pleasure and will (Ephesians 1:5).
Combine cocoa, sugar, mik, and oleo in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Boil
for one minute. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Stir until
dissolved. Add oatmeal and stir. Spoon into small mounds on waxed paper.
Yeild 3 dozen. This recipe from "The Flat Rock Cookbook". The very first
cookie I ever made 'on my own'.
