We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Man is surrounded by the wonders of God.

Sometimes a failure to persist in prayer proves that we were not serious about our request in the first place. At other times God wants us to persist in prayer in order to strengthen our faith in Him. Faith would never grow if all prayers were answered immediately. Persistent prayer tends to develop deeper gratitude as well. As the joy of a baby’s birth is greater because of the months of anticipation, so is the joy of an answer to prayer after persistent praying. And as much as a generation that measures time in nanoseconds hates to admit its need for it, God crafts Christlike patience in us when He requires persistence in prayer.

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Vegetables Pasta, Sauces 1 servings

INGREDIENTS

1 Head broccoli; (1 to 2)
1 Onion; chopped
3 Garlic cloves; chopped (3 to 4)
1 c Vegetable broth; (or more)
1 Lemon juiced
1 ds Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

x Pepper to taste (1 tsp)
Steam 1-2 heads of broccoli until real soft. Meanwhile Sauté 1 chopped
onion and 3-4 cloves of chopped garlic (more if you love garlic) in
some white wine or broth. When everything is done, dump into blender
and add 1 cup veggie broth, juice of 1 lemon, dash of salt, and
pepper to taste (I use about 1 tsp.) and blend until smooth and
thick. Add more broth if necessary for processing. If you eat dairy
you can also add parmeasan cheese.
I know this sounds too simple but it makes a heavenly pasta sauce and
keeps real well in the refrigerator for leftovers.
