It is doubtful that the Apostle Paul had in mind Bible classes or seminars or books when he spoke of [women] teaching younger women. He meant the simple things, the everyday example, the willingness to take time from one’s own concerns to pray with the anxious mother, to walk with her the way of the cross – with its tremendous demands of patience, selflessness, lovingkindness – and to show her, in the ordinariness of Monday through Saturday, how to keep a quiet heart.
What naturalists call “science” isn’t really science – at least not if science means following the evidence! Naturalists like to think of themselves as brave defenders of clear reasoning against irrational superstition, but actually naturalism itself is the superstition. It isn’t supported by reasoning but by blind hostility to the evidence of God.
Melt Velveeta and margarine/butter in microwave in casserole dish until it
can be easily stirred. Add cans of soup and mix well. Add water and milk
and mix. Stir in Minute Rice. Fold in broccoli. Bake in oven at 350 until
bubbly and hot, about 30 - 45 minutes depending on type of dish it is in.
Notes: Be careful not to bake too long or cheese will burn on the top
around edges. Can be heated in microwave. Makes a large corning casserole
and great to take to church 'bring a dish to pass' events. Kids love it.
Also good served as side dish with pork chops. Leftovers are easliy
reheated or frozen for another time.
