We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

What will turn our hearts from the passing pleasures of sin? What can strengthen our wills to reject the temptations of the flesh? What will energize our souls to turn from world delusions? What has the power to transform our desires and reconfigure our longings and stir our emotional chemistry that we might love what God loves and hate what He hates? Only one thing. Not rules and threats and fear and punishment. Only one thing. Jesus, in all His beauty. Jesus, in all that He is for us now and will be tomorrow.

1. Put fillet(s) in an oiled baking pan, sprinkle with the juice of the
lime, dried onion flakes, pepper and a little melted butter. Let stand for
30 minutes or so.
2. Broil in preheated broiler until nearly done.
3. Pull out of the broiler and pour over gin -- mixed with a little more
butter, I think. Return to broiler to flame. Author's Notes: Other
possibilities for bluefish: Baked bluefish fillets wrapped in bacon strips
Bluefish a la puttanesca: Cover with puttanesca sauce (see a pasta book -
tomatoes, black olives, anchovies, capers ...) and bake.
