We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Throughout the Bible, bleak situations provide the stage for God’s intervention in the lives of His people. We trust in a God who provided redemption in Jesus Christ when circumstances looked as if no redemption was possible. The events of our lives are the scene of His providential and redemptive activity. Nothing occurs by chance, takes God by surprise, or exceeds His power to handle. This is the foundation of trust.

Objection: I can profit as much by staying at home and reading the Scripture or some good book; it is the word of God which they preach, and it is that which I read at home. The books that are written by learned men are better than the sermons that are preached by our ministers. Answer: What foolish pretences are these against the plain command of God and our own necessary duty! When God hath appointed you your duty, will He allow you to forsake it upon your own reason, as if you were wiser than God, and knew what will profit you better than He?

INSTRUCTIONS

Eating buckwheat may postpone your hunger pangs. According to USDA
study and other research, buckwheat will keep glucose levels in check
better than other carbohydrates. Buckwheat gives you over 20% more
fiber than oatmeal. The total dietary fiber content of buckwheat is
largely soluble fiber. This is the type of fiber that many
nutritionists and medical experts believe to be significant in helping
to lower cholesterol levels when combined with a low fat diet.
Buckwheat is one of the best plant sources of protein. If you're
eating less meat, this can be especially important. Eggs are the
standard used to size up protein quality. Buckwheat as over 80% of the
protein quality of eggs--with none of the cholesterol or fat. Plus,
buckwheat is rich in lysine, one of the amino acids that is in short
supply in most grains. Buckwheat is a fruit, not a grain. As such,
it's wheat-free and gluten-free. This is healthful news for those
with celiac disease and other less severe wheat allergies. From

A Message from our Provider:

“A man who is eating or lying with his wife or preparing to go to sleep in humility, thankfulness and temperance, is, by Christian standards, in an infinitely higher state than one who is listening to Bach or reading Plato in a state of pride. #C.S. Lewis”
