INGREDIENTS

4 lg Eggs; lightly beaten
2 c Sugar
3/4 c Butter or margarine; melted
2 ts Vanilla extract
1 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1/3 c Cocoa
4 Chocolate-coated; (2.01 oz.) caramel-peanut nougat bars, coarsely chopped*
3 Milk; (1.55 oz.) chocolate bars, finely chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Mardee Johnson, Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Combine flour
and next 3 ingredients, stir into sugar mixture. Fold in chopped
nougat bars. Spoon into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan,
sprinkle with chopped milk chocolate bars. Bake at 350 degrees for 30
to 35 min. Cool in pan on a wire rack; cut into squares.
YIELD: 2 1/2 dozen
NOTE: *For chocolate-coated caramel-peanut nougat bars, we used
Snickers.
