We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

We start each day with our personal security resting not on the accepting love of God and the sacrifice of Christ but on our present feelings or recent achievements in the Christian life. Since these arguments will not quiet the human conscience, we are inevitably moved either to discouragement and apathy or to a self-righteousness which falsifies the record to achieve a sense of peace. But the faith that is able to warm itself at the fire of God’s love, instead of having to steal love and self-acceptance from other sources, is actually the root of peace.
Richard Lovelace

Every single one of us has a heart that tends toward sexual sin. These tendencies produce different temptations in each of our lives. Some of us experience sexual desire for the same sex, and others of us are prone to fulfill [unbiblical] sexual desire with the opposite sex. Even the ways we want to fulfill those sexual desires vary among us. Without question, part of the mystery of this fallen world includes why certain people have certain desires while other people have other desires. We do not always choose our temptations. But we do choose our reactions to those temptations.

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Eggs, Dairy, Vegetables 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 Eggs
1 3/4 c Milk
1/8 c Vegetable oil; ( less oil the more cheese you use) (up to 1/4)
2 c All purpose flour
4 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
3 c Cheese; (up to 4)

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat waffle iron. Beat eggs until fluffy, beat in remaining ingredients
just until smooth. Pour batter from cup onto center of hot waffle iron.
Cook 2 1/2 minutes for sowaffles, 4 minutes for crispy waffles. Remove
carefully. Serves 4. Tastes great all by itself or with toppings.
If the waffles are coming out too greasy, reduce oil, not cheese. (I can
never help myself, I always add more cheese! My waistline will attest to
that!)
