God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
Without the heart it is not worship; it is a stage play; an acting a part without being that person really...a hypocrite. We may truly be said to worship God-though we lack perfection; but we cannot be said to worship Him if we lack sincerity.
Why do Christians become backslidden? We all still possess the old nature that is “corrupt through deceitful lusts” (Eph. 4:22; Rom. 7:13-24; 1 Cor. 3:1-3). Lack of continuous fellowship by “abiding” in Christ results in a lack of spiritual vitality and ineffective Christian service (Jn. 15:4-8). There is no other way to live the Christian life except by maintaining an intimate fellowship with our Lord. If we do not maintain that vital contact with Him we cannot sustain spiritual growth and effectively minister in His name.

I don't know how close these are to Kudos, but I like them.
Chop up whatever you decide to flavor your bars with. Mix this with the
oats, flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a large bowl. In another
bowl, mix together the butter, yogurt, brown sugar, and vanilla. Stir this
into the dry ingredients. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x12 inch pan and
bake at 325 F until the top just turns brown (about 30-40 minutes). Cut
when mostly cooled.
Note: These should come out fairly thin.
