We Love God!

Parental affection is very powerful. It makes the parent, and the parent’s God, attractive. It communicates love and acceptance. We might tell our children that we love them, but affection convinces them. It is the bridge over which love passes to our children. Affection is the hammer that drives the nail of truth deep into their hearts. It would be hard to overstate the importance of affection.

God glorifies Himself toward the creature also in two ways: 1. By appearing to...their understanding. 2. In communicating Himself to their hearts, and in their rejoicing and delighting in and enjoying the manifestations which He makes of Himself... God is glorified not only by His glory being seen, but by its being rejoiced in. When those that see it delight in it, God is more glorified than if they only see it. His glory is then received by the whole soul, both by the understanding and by the heart.

Chicken Thighs In Cornflakes And Sesame Seeds

INGREDIENTS

8 Chicken thighs
4 Handfuls cornflakes, crushed
3 T Sesame seeds
3 T Cooking oil
Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Pre-heat the oven to 180øC/350øF/gas mark 4 Skin the chicken thighs
and brush them lightly with oil. Mix the crushed cornflakes and  sesame
seeds together and roll the chicken thighs in this mixture to  coat
them thoroughly. Put the coated chicken thighs on to a greased  baking
sheet and sprinkle with a little salt. Bake in the oven for  about 25
minutes or until cooked through and crisp. Serve hot.  Converted by
