The unbeliever should fear God when he hears of the severity of God’s judgment and run to the asbestos covering of Jesus Christ who bore God’s wrath in the individual’s place. You see, the solution to the fear of God is the love of God that sent the Son of God!
Cream together the softened butter or margarine and brown sugar. Add egg,
milk and vanilla; beat well. Stir together the flour, baking powder,
baking soda, and salt. Add to the creamed mixture; beat well. Stir in
semi-sweet chocolate chips. Spread in greased 9 X 9 X 2-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool; cut into bars.
Makes 32 bars.
