God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
Spirit-baptism is a metaphor that describes our reception of the Holy Spirit at the moment of our conversion to Jesus in faith and repentance. When we believe and are justified, we are, as it were, deluged and engulfed by the Holy Spirit; we are, as it were, immersed in and saturated by the Spirit. [The] results:
1. We are made members of the body of Christ, incorporated into the spiritual organism called the church (1 Cor. 12:13).
2. The Holy Spirit comes to indwell us permanently.
If my heart is the source of my sin problem, then lasting change must always travel through the pathway of my heart. It is not enough to alter my behavior or to change my circumstances. Christ transforms people by radically changing their hearts. If the heart doesn’t change, the person’s words and behavior may change temporarily because of an external pressure or incentive. But when the pressure or incentive is removed, the change will disappear.
Combine in the order listed.
Marinate for 30 minutes to overnight.
Especially good on lamb kebabs, chicken breasts or big shrimp in their
shells.
