Theologians regularly speak of general revelation and special revelation. By the former is meant that non-redemptive knowledge of God to be found in creation and conscience, a knowledge that is universally accessible (hence, “general”). By the latter is meant that redemptive knowledge of God as revealed in the person of Christ, the living Word of God, and in the Bible, the written Word of God, a knowledge that is restricted to the recipients of saving grace (hence, “special”).

Truths about Friendship – From the life of Paul [in 2 Timothy 4]: 1. Paul believed in the critical importance of having close friends – verses 9, 21a. 2. Paul knew from personal experience the pain and anguish of loneliness – verses 10b, 11a, 16a. 3. Paul knew the importance of having the right kind of friends: be discerning and selective – verses 14-15. 4. Cinnamon-pineapple Scampi Sauce

16	oz	Can crushed pineapple
		drained
1/2	c	Honey
1	T	Cornstarch
	ds	Cinnamon, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Many thanks to Laurie from Virginia.  Laurie sent me a recipe for
cinnamon-pineapple sauce that I made the other day. It was
incredible... even better than the one I had at that restaurant...  and
VERY EASY!  Combine ingredients in 2 qt. saucepan.  Cook over medium
high heat,  stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and heated
through,  about 3 ~ 5 minutes. I used this sauce for dipping chicken
