Ingredients: 2 Eggs; beaten; 1 c Molasses (dark or white); 1 c Milk; 1 ts Vanilla; 1/2 c Sugar; 1 tb Flour; 2 tb Melted butter; 1 c Coconut

In the political process, the makeup man is more important than the speech writer, and we approach the voting booth, not on the basis of a well-developed philosophy of what the state should be, but with a heart full of images, emotions, and slogans all packed into thirty-second sound bites. The mind-numbing, irrational tripe that fills TV talk shows is digested by millions of bored, lonely Americans hungry for that sort of stuff (J.P Moreland).

Coconut Custard Pie (Amish Cooking)

INGREDIENTS

2		Eggs; beaten
1	c	Molasses (dark or white)
1	c	Milk
1	ts	Vanilla
1/2	c	Sugar
1	tb	Flour
2	tb	Melted butter
1	c	Coconut

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix together all the ingredients and pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake
the pie at 450 oF for 15 minutes. Reduce the heat to 350 oF and bake it for
20 to 30 minutes longer.
