In the time of His presence we have the sense of His love to us. But in the time of His absence then He sees, and we ourselves have the sense of, our love to Him.
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat gently. DO NOT ALLOW
TO BOIL. Spoon over the vegetables when serving or place them in a
casserole topping with the sauce and sprinkling with bread crumbs. Place
under the broiler until the crumbs are brown, 1 to 2 minutes. Ideal with
cooked fresh asparagus, or broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, green beans and
so forth.
