Hearing a sermon is not like hearing a lecture. It is your meeting with the living Christ. It is you seeing His glory, so that you can feel it and be changed by it. Let’s pay attention to Him and what He means a sermon to be, lest we miss Him.

Corn Fritters

INGREDIENTS

1 Egg
1/2 c Milk
1 cn Corn (12-oz)
1 tb Peanut oil
1 1/2 c Flour, unsifted
1 tb Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1 ds Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Beat egg in a large bowl. Stir in milk, can of corn with sweet peppers and
1 tbl of oil. Add and beat in flour,baking powder, salt and pepper. Drop in
tablespoons of the mixture into deep or shallow hot oil (375 degrees). Fry
until golden brown, 2-3 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. Serve
hot. If desired serve with a syrup. Makes about 4 fritters per person
