We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The primary meaning of the word “love” in Scripture is a purposeful commitment to sacrificial action for another. In fact, loving God is demonstrated by obeying His Word (Jn. 14:15, 21, 23-24; 1 Jn. 5:3; 2 Jn. 1:6). Powerful emotions may accompany biblical love, but it is the commitment of the will that holds love steadfast and unchanging. Emotions may change, but a commitment to love in a biblical manner endures and is the hallmark of a disciple of Jesus Christ.
John Broger

The world wants God’s money. Advertising tells us that. We also have the same desire everyone else does – the Bible calls this desire the flesh – to spend money selfishly. And the Devil would have us waste money because he is our enemy and the Enemy of God’s Kingdom, and he wants to ruin our life and the work of God. But God tells us how to manage His money in ways that will ultimately benefit us most and bring us greater joy than using our money our way.
