We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

When Jesus warns us not to store up treasures on earth, it's not just because wealth might be lost; it's because wealth will always be lost. Either it leaves us while we live, or we leave it when we die. No exceptions… Realizing its value is temporary should radically affect our investment strategy… According to Jesus, storing up earthly treasures isn't simply wrong. It's just plain stupid.
Randy Alcorn

Men will never come to Jesus, and stay with Jesus, and live for Jesus, unless they really know why they are to come, and what is their need. Those whom the Spirit draws to Jesus are those whom the Spirit has convinced of sin. Without thorough conviction of sin, men may seem to come to Jesus and follow Him for a season, but they will soon fall away and return to the world.

Somebody wanted the recipe for English tea cakes...
Rub the fat in the flour, then add the currants, sugar, peel and mixed
spice. Add sufficient milk to make into a soft dough. Roll out to half an
inch thickness and cut to shape with a round cutter. Brush with beaten egg
to glaze and bake at about 350F for 10 to 15 minutes. These are nice split
and spread with butter.
