God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
[In explaining his imprisonment, the Apostle] Paul subtly notifies his readers that proclaiming the mystery of Christ crucified is more likely to open the door to a prison cell for them instead of the door to financial and social success.
It is immeasurably sweet, and awe-inspiring, to know that Jesus’s two natures are perfectly united in His one person. Jesus is not divided. He is not two people. He is one person. As the Chalcedonian Creed states, His two natures are without confusion, without change, without division, and without separation. Jesus is one.
Put sugar, water, butter and syrup in skillet, boil until it turns
brown, stirring constantly. Not too brown or it will taste scorched.
Remove from fire, stire in soda. This makes it browner. Stire and pour
over about 5 qts of popcorn. Add nuts if desired.
