God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The authority of Scripture is inescapably impaired if this total divine inerrancy is in any way limited or disregarded, or made relative to a view of truth contrary to the Bible’s own; and such lapses bring serious loss to both the individual and the church.

Buildings are tools for ministry. Tools aren’t always pretty, but they do need to be effective. Too often churches build edifices that are as much or more a monument to the architect, pastor, or building committee than a tool for ministry. God does not care how pretty your church building is, He is interested in what you do with it. I am not advocating ugly – just a balance in priorities and goals.

Cranberry Orange Relish

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
American Sauce 12 Servings

INGREDIENTS

4 c Fresh cranberried (about 1 lb)
2 Oranges
2 c Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Some years ago my mother stopped serving normal cranberry relish at
holiday meals. By "normal" I mean that jellied stuff you buy in a can.
Instead, she began serving this relish. It is terribly simple to make, and
now I much prefer it to the sweeter jellied type.
Wash the cranberries and chop them up in your food processor or hand
grinder. Peel the oranges, remove the seeds, and put the rind and the
orange pulp through the chopper or food processor, too. Mix together with
sugar and let stand a few hours before serving.
