God’s goodness is a communicative, spreading goodness... If God had not a communicative, spreading goodness, He would never have created the world. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost were happy in themselves and enjoyed one another before the world was. But that God delights to communicate and spread His goodness, there had never been a creation nor a redemption. God uses His creatures not for defect of power, that He can do nothing without them, but for the spreading of His goodness.

While the will is the ultimate determiner of all choices, it is influenced in its choices by the strongest forces brought to bear upon it. These compelling forces come from a variety of sources. It may be the subtle suggestions of Satan and his world system (Eph. 2:2) or the evil enticements of our own sinful nature (Jas. 1:14). It may be the urgent voice of conscience, the earnest reasoning of a loving friend, or the quiet prompting of the Holy Spirit. Cream or Country Gravy

INGREDIENTS

2		-(up to)
3	tb	Pan drippings
2	tb	Butter
4	tb	Flour
2	c	Milk
		Salt & pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

After frying chicken or pork chops in a skillet, pour off the grease,
leaving 2 to 3 tablespoons in the pan. Add 2 tablespoons butter, 4
tablespoons flour, and stir and cook until golden brown. Using a wire whip,
add 2 cups of milk to the pan, stirring constantly until the mixture
thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste.
The gravy is served over hot biscuits or rice. I am told that in Georgia
one never pours the gravy over the chicken.
