If thankfulness does not move us to serve God, then we do not truly understand who our God is and what He has done in our behalf. Without gratitude for Christ’s sacrificial love, our duty will become nothing more than drudgery and our God nothing more than a dissatisfied boss.

David’s Besan-Stuffed Chiles

INGREDIENTS

Besan
Onion; chopped
Salt
Cumin
Green chiles; e.g. large cayennes, fresno, jalapeno, large serranos
Ghii/oil
Black mustard seeds
Yoghurt

INSTRUCTIONS

MIX TOGETHER
REMAINING INGREDIENTS
(Bhopal, 1970)
Stuff spice/besan mix into green chiles (seeds and membranes removed, per
taste preference, but also to make some room there). Fry chiles in ghii.
Add black mustard seeds (they should pop a bit). Add yoghurt and cook
slowly until done.
