Delicious Chuck Roast With Salsa

INGREDIENTS

lb Chuck or 7-bone roast
1 t Vegetable oil
1 7 oz Ortega chili salsa
1 t Brown sugar
1/2 t Garlic powder
1 t Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oil in a Dutch oven or large, flameproof casserole. Brown meat  on
all sides on medium high heat. Combine all remaining ingredients  in a
bowl. pour over meat. Cover pan, reduce heat to low and simmer  2-1/2
to3 hours. Check roast after 2 hours. If more liquid is needed,  add a
