We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The “put on” response to swearing is gratitude. Notice the end of Ephesians 5:4. Paul says that gratitude should punctuate your speech, not swearing. This contrast is striking. It is not simply replacing one set of words with another set of words. God wants your grateful heart. He wants your faithful, trusting heart. He wants your submissive, humble heart. When He has these things from you, swearing will not be an issue. If your talk acknowledges that God has sovereign control over your life, and that He is working all things together for your good, you will express your gratitude, not your frustration or rebellion.
John Younts

As the Reformers put it, saving faith is the instrument by which we subjectively appropriate Christ's objective, finished work. It is an opening of our empty hands to receive what God is offering. But we shall never give God all the glory for our salvation unless we remember that even the opening of our hands depends on what God has already done in the hiddennes of our hearts.

4 Eggs, separated
2 tb Grand Marnier
6 oz Chocolate,; melted
Confectioners' sugar, for dusting
1/2 c Chocolate sauce,; for serving

tapping out any excess. In a mixing bowl whisk yolks, 1/4 cup sugar, and
Grand Marnier until thoroughly mixed. Stir in melted chocolate. In another
