We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Both the mind and the conscience can become so defiled that they cease making distinctions between what is pure and what is impure (cf. Titus 1:15).
John MacArthur

Our obedience to God's commands is the expression of trusting Christ. It is not our words but our deeds that stand the test of Christ's gaze. Love of Jesus is measured by obedience to what he commands (John 14:15 and 15:14). "He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me" (John 14:21). Not even miracles can substitute for doing what God commands (Matt. 7:22).

Dairy, Meats, Eggs 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 c Whole wheat flour
1/2 c Powdered dry milk
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Garlic powder
6 tb Meat drippings
1 Egg, beaten
1 ts Brown sugar
1/2 c Ice water

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, dry milk, salt, and sugar. Cut
in drippings until mixture resembles cornmeal. Mix in egg. Add enough water
so the mixture forms a ball.
Pat out dough 1/2 inch thick with your fingers on a lightly oiled cookie
sheet. Cut with doggie biscuit cutter, and remove scraps. Pat out scraps on
another cookie sheet, and proceed as before.
Bake 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on cake rack.
Personal note: I did a few with the bone-shaped cutter, but I also made
some in other shapes as well. Any cookie cutter will work. I have a good
collection of tin cookie cutters in lots of shapes from a foot to a
fish....the dog's own Christmas cookies!!!
