We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The DNA of sin is selfishness. Sin inserts me into the middle of my universe; the one place reserved for God and God alone. Sin reduces my field of concern down to my wants, my needs, and my feelings. Sin really does make it all about me.
Paul David Tripp

Having faith is trusting in the revelation of God. In other words, if I know that something is consistent with God’s mind, if I know it is consistent with His will, if I know it is consistent with His purpose, if I know it is consistent with His desire, then I believe that and I can see that come to pass. It is faith in God as God is and God as God has revealed Himself to be. And how is that appropriated?... by prayer.... As we ask consistent with God's revelation of Himself, consistent with the name of Jesus Christ and His purpose, consistent in an unselfish way to the glory of God, we can know we'll receive it.
John MacArthur

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in large saute pan over medium
heat; add onion, carrot, celery, garlic and mushrooms. Saute, stirring
frequently until mushrooms are cooked through, about 10 mins. Add the
wine, simmer for 5 mins.
Transfer the mushroom mixture to a large bowl and toss thoroughly with the
focaccia, sage, salt and pepper. Transfer the mixture to a lightly
buttered baking pan that will hold the dressing to a depth of about 2
inches. Cover with foil and bake for 30 mins. Remove foil and brush the
top of the dressing lightly with melted butter. Continue to bake until the
top of dressing is golden brown, 10-15 minutes.
